Nothing happen. Just bring it to the dealers attention and pray that they never let it happen again and just let it go. The world would be a better place.

He can vent. I'll give him that.

Re: Why I hate Jeep dealers

If it's OK for this much drama while venting, you know, hating all Jeep dealers, expecting Lexus/Benz service for a Jeep, projecting disastrous mechanical errors that did not occur, water splashes damaging an engine bay, etc, all from the cap being loose on a wiper reservoir....

Then I have every right to recommend:

Re: Why I hate Jeep dealers

I don't think you can lump all Jeep dealers into one experience. I had a Dodge while in Germany and when I had it serviced at the Chrysler Dealership there, service rivaled any MB or BMW dealer. I would never see that level of service stateside again. Domestic dealers don't have the same emphasis put on quality service as we would like. The individual dealers that do understand that service is part of repeat business generally have better service managers and techs avoiding cases the OP posted about. Knowing this I always do a walk around and look under the hood after any and all services. No one cares more about your vehicle than you do.

Right, no meter small or large issue. My level of trust is harmed at the moment I saw everything is wet under my hood with washer. Car is great, dealers are by far not and that will possibly be a stop point when I will look for another car to replace Jeep. Am I measure their job too high? What do you expect?

I believe you didn't get my point. In my invoice there is point cost me $17 and named World Class Check-up service and additional card with red green points marked as pass or failed. That is something they add by their own initiative and that is what caused even worse effect after what happened.
Not big deal, small issue, so what? Right, should we wait until fire under hood to call problem serious? Is this how you work at your work? I am asking because I am not.

Did you authorize them to perform the check and charge you for it? If not, I would have not paid that $17 and let them know I am more than capable of checking the condition of my wipers and washer fluid.

Re: Why I hate Jeep dealers

Just wondering if you called the Service Mgr. back to let him know about your bad experience & what he said or how they will handle this going forward?

In addition, for those of us in the area, do you care to tell us just who this 'World-Class' Jeep dealer is so that we may avoid them?

--> Moose, you made me laugh real good this morning...
--> Shortdustoff, excellent points there...

Actually, I only ask if checkup is a part of oil change, service person said yes while taking my car. I didn't asked for any extra checkups, especially "World Class" one.
I didn't call, I wrote in review what I think about all these services. I got review later from Chrysler via email. Not a secret, this is Sansone Jeep on rt1, NJ.
