Re: Win Module Failure

I have a 2008 Grand Cherokee and just had to have the win module replaced in it. The Jeep has low mileage...only about 28,000 miles on it. Luckily, it was under warranty. Had no other problems with vehicle at all.

Re: Win Module Failure

I had the same thing happen to my 1 day old Overland and I removed the negative battery lead to reboot the truck. It hasn't happened since but Jeep has released a TSB for this and I would suggest everyone get it applied.

TSB 08-024-11A, you can access it through the wk2jeeps link at the bottom of this page

Re: Win Module Failure

My 2011 with 44k miles died in my driveway as well. I disconnected the neg battery cable and all is well for now. Dealer wants $450.00 to replace the WIN module.
For now I am carrying a 10mm wrench to remove the batt cable.
