I wasn't aware that Massengill made automotive products. Mybe they'll work better than these from Bosch.

Does anyone make wipers that don't streak?

Re: Windshield wiper streak

Add acid rain to all the crap that gets sprayed up from the road onto your windshield, and you're lucky the glass doesn't just melt!

Re: Windshield wiper streak

My mechanic told me many years ago if you are buying wiper blades at an auto parts store go to one thats has lots of turnover and sales since you want the freshest ie newest wiper blades you can possibly get.

I also clean mine with rubbing alcohol. Always have had good luck with Bosch. BMW OEM blades suck but Honda OEM blades are great. Might try Mopar.

I have a rag I use, I can only get the far left side but as long as I lean that way I can see just fine...
I bought trico blades for my ram and they still streak, they are the second down from their top of the line too. I ran them on ky fusion no problem but my ram doesn't seem to like them. My OEM ford blades on my fusion seemed to last forever too I think I got almost a year and a half with them. I have rain x brand beam style for my wife's jeep that I will be installing tomorrow, hopefully those work.

Re: Windshield wiper streak

Man i thought I was alone on this. I have tried just about every wiper and the OEM seems to be the best or streak the least.

What a PIA this is.

Re: Windshield wiper streak

My OEM gave me the huge center streak on the drivers side from day one.

Update on the Bosch Icons, I replaced the nicked drivers side with a new one from Pep Boys, on sale. When I got back to the parking lot I opened the box to put them on, and found that the package had already been opened. So I immediately turned around and went back into the store, and told them that they had just sold me a used part. They exchanged it for an unopened package.

This got me to thinking, some DB had probably done that before, of the package that I had bought previously at A's.

No doubt PBs turned around and restocked the one that I returned...

Re: Windshield wiper streak

Used steel wool and gave the windshield a good scrub. I changed to Bosch icons and they still streak. Wtf. Is it something wrong with the wiper arm?
