Re: Wiper Size and Recommendations?

Just wanted to follow-up on this.

I got 2 of the 21" Bosch ICONs and put them on. FYI, the driver's size looks like it's a 22" So, my driver side wiper is now a little smaller. Oh well.

Drove to work in the snow (again, WTF is with the weather this year) and wasn't able to get the workout from the previous storm, but the new wiper DID NOT seem to help much. Now I'm pretty bummed out. Even in mild snowfall it looks like the snow loves to stick to the blades on the Jeep and freeze.

I wish the blades rested on a part of the windshield where the defroster would hit it.

Anyone else having more ice buildup issues on their wipers?

-Ryan

Re: Wiper Size and Recommendations?

I also used Bosch ICONs. Great wipers!

Re: Wiper Size and Recommendations?

Goodyear Blades from Costco Worked great on my Jeep Liberty. They only run $7 a piece they are kind of thick but for a truck or SUV I think they add a great look. I have not needed to change my WK2 yet only 1000 miles on it and live in Southern Cal.

Re: Wiper Size and Recommendations?

IMO Valeo 600 Windshield Wiper Blade rates as one of the best, according to reviews and higher cost doesn't necessarily deliver a longer life span / Better quality. They use Both natural and synthetic rubber in the wiper blade, and a special coating helps protects it from UV and weather deterioration. I just ordered a set Around $21 Shipped No dought the Bosch Icons are good along with the MANY others But when your paying $40+ for a set that will Need to be replaced around 1 - 1 1/2 yr Again IMO
