Wires under the seats

Probably a dumb question, but I searched the wk2 forum and didn't see an answer (saw the discussion re: battery and storage):

In my Overland, there is a tangle of wires under both the front driver and passenger seats (I think for the power seats). Should these wires be hidden from view? There is no cloth/plastic covering them up.

Thanks.

Re: Wires under the seats

They are also for the heating an cooling units. Mine are exposed aswell but it's not really a big deal to me. How often does anyone ever look under the seat when examining or admiring your ride.

Re: Wires under the seats

Not often that's for sure. In addition to aesthetics, I was thinking about the inevitability of something rolling under the seat and affecting the wires.

Yes, they should be more hidden, covered, something. I agree it looks awful down there.

I come from boats where shoddy wiring is commonplace. Good wiring is one of the things that separates the top notch boats from the crap:

Hard to hide them with movable seats.

These seats are by far one of the cleanest setups I have seen. Most cars you can't even get your hand under the seats with all the tracks and wiring.
