WK2 dual batteries

anyone fitted dual batteries to thier WK2?
Have not read much about it in the USA.
Popular option here in AUS.

I went to arb and a few other spots both said there isnt space under the hood to mount, so you need a portable system. Something like the thumper which the gets wired in and sits at the rear, they we're also not wanting to mount it on the rear or I might have trouble removing the spare

I did find another batt box under the driver seat with some relays in it. Maybe relocate those and put another batt there.

I think there is a module of some sort under there aswell.
Need a adaptor harnes to move everything.

Supose it could be possible

How about in the hollow spot around one of the wheel well liners? You may have to fab a tray and cut an access panel in the liner, but there should be room. That's where they put the battery in Nascar race cars.

That could be a posibility.
The smallest battery is D129mm x W238mm x H228
