Re: WK2 Heating Problem

Try AUTO position and set temperature appropriately relative to outdoor temperature. This is how mine works.

Re: WK2 Heating Problem

What is the outside temperature and what is the temperature you have the inside
set for?

Re: WK2 Heating Problem

Temp outside was in the 50s Inside temp set at 75. Auto. Maybe I should try not using the auto function. Just set the fan high on heat

Re: WK2 Heating Problem

Winter was a long time ago, but I think I remember that if the engine has not warmed up sufficiently, the heater will not operate above a minimal level.

Re: WK2 Heating Problem

I checked mine today and it was running after remote starting the vehicle
when the fan was on manual or Auto.

The outside temperature determines whether or not the heated seat and steering
wheel or ventilated seat also comes on.

Re: WK2 Heating Problem

If the heater control is set to auto, the heater will not come on until the engine warms up and will actually provide warm air. In really cold weather, our 15 minute remote start cycle may not be long enough for the engine to warm up at idle (unless you have a block heater plugged in).
