Have a 2013 Grand Cherokee. Travelled to North Western Australia over some corrugated roads ad failed one rear set. New set fitted and they lasted 10klms. Limped to dealer towing caravan 1500klms. New set fitted , these failed next day going to the shops. Another set fitted, these got me back home, but now have a noise at low speed at LH rear shock. Informed Jeep at service, they are replacing top rubber mount, as a service bulleting as this as a common part failure. Waiting now 3 weeks for the rubber.
I have ordered Firestone airbags to assist with the shockies and springs. The only other alternative are Dobinsons shocks, but this de rates the towing capacity to 2.5 tonnes?
Anyone else have any issue with shocks?
