Re: Wrinkle in leather seat normal?

That doesn't look "normal". My 2012 GC L TD has nice, even "gathers" (small folds running vertically) on the light frost leather and that looks great, very high end upholstery looking.

I don't think it does either.. Drivers side is perfect. Passenger has these.. Definatley not from wear yet. They are brand new

Re: Wrinkle in leather seat normal?

my black/saddle does not have this at 10k miles. THe backs still look smooth and brand new. THe seat/base has a wrinkle or two, but i would expect a little with the seat portion. With that said, not sure the dealer will do anything and would probably say something like, "not every leather seat is identical" or something to that affect.

Re: Wrinkle in leather seat normal?

Should not be normal. My 2011 Overland with saddle interior has 6500 miles on it and the seats are like new.

Re: Wrinkle in leather seat normal?

Not normal; my 2012 GC Overland has same problem on driver's side only. Dealer just called me to let me know that Chrysler had approved replacing the seat cover. Problem showed up within a couple of months of purchase but I just got around to showing it to the dealer.

Re: Wrinkle in leather seat normal?

I agree not normal at all.
However, keep in mind that what you may end up getting as a replacement could be worse.
Just a thought.

Re: Wrinkle in leather seat normal?

From your local Warranty Administrator, its normal. Remember this leather is a natural product, it will stretch, it will have patterns, textures that are all similar but never EXACTLY the same.
