Re: xm/sirus

I just found the menu to turn on Sirius Favorite alerts. Turn Sirius/XM (sxm) on. To the left you'll see the button labeled 'browse'. Push 'browse' and then push 'favorites'.

Re: xm/sirus

Also when using the Sirius discount pricing tell them to bill you. Then send them a money order for the amount not a credit card or check then that way they can't just bill you when they're ready.

Re: xm/sirus

The price is excellent for what you get. The only thing I'm not receiving on my 8.4 is traffic info. That's in and out though because sometimes when I check it,it's working...no biggy because I have various means of navigation. All the other channels are there.

You do realize they will charge $2.00 to bill you?

That's okay....I have 3 vehicles, all which expire the same day. I get one $2.00 charge and all 3 vehicles are on one bill which I pay with a money order. I don't have to worry about forgetting and them hitting my credit card or drafting my checking account.

I've never been able to get the 6 month deal though....only the 5 month.

Re: xm/sirus

What's an extra 2 bucks when you're getting pricing like this for 24.99? Also the ability to re-up for the same thing in another 6 months.

Re: xm/sirus

I might have to look into this. I only keep the lowest level around for traffic and travel link. I pay like $5.99 per month for lowest plus the $5 for travel link.

While I think the sound quality of sirius is sub par I would like some of the artist's stations along with 70's music etc, that I don't get now

Re: xm/sirus

This pricing is the only reason why I still have Sirius. The sound quality isn't the greatest but I do enjoy the variety.
