Re: Zeigler Extended Warranties

The particular promo code i have is good til 04/12 and is good for all the plans. If you go the website and get a quote with your email address they'll eventually send you a similar promo code but just thought i would throw this out there for anyone thats ready to buy now and doesnt want to wait.

If i'd have puleld the trigger on this a few weeks ago it would have been a little over $100 cheaper. I'm just going to get it now before the price goes up again; I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Re: Zeigler Extended Warranties

Lifetime Max Care $100 deduct (only one I researched since I keep my cars 12 or so yrs:

Ziegler $2135 OTD
Chryslerwarrantys.com $2265 OTD using their $200 coupon (best you'll get)
My local OH dealer $2085 + 8% sales tax = $2251

My final choice:
Texas Group Buy $1987 OTD PLUS 0% Interest for 12 months

Note: Some states like Ohio now tax service contracts which is what this is (it is NOT an extended warranty) so be sure you don't get that zinger at the end. Michigan (Zeigler) and Online (chryslerwarrantys.com) don't.

My '11 warranty is over this Fall...what's the story on extended warranties and why is everyone using those "people" at Ziegler? I DESPISE Ziegler. Bought my '11 from them as a left over. Got $10K off or I would have bought elsewhere after how they treated me. Swore I'd NEVER buy anything from them ever again and make sure that nobody I know does either.

Hear ya, then don't See 2 previous posts....not to pick but it's an extended SERVICE CONTRACT, not warranty, big difference...

Sorry, yes, meant service contract.

Just asking the question why Ziegler...my experience with them was awful. If there is a specific reason to give them another chance based on substantial positive feedback by others, maybe I can leverage my bad experience into a reduced price... ;-)

Re: Zeigler Extended Warranties

Ziegler is popular because they seem to offer the best price by far - my local dealer refused to come close to their price. And since it's Chrysler, it's good at any dealer.

Re: Zeigler Extended Warranties

If you live out of State, Ziegler is tax FREE!!! If you get a deal from your own state you must pay state sales tax. Add that to the Ziegler savings and that's real money.
Mt brother bought his extended Lincoln Warranty from Ziegler and saved over $800.00

Ziegler gives the best deal out there. Ziegler makes money on high volume sales.

Yep. Did the same comparison as the gent above. Zeigler, that other website (chryslerwarrantys.com, yes with the coupon) and local dealer and Zeigler was the clear winner. You buy and pay online. I called once because I had an old quote and wanted to make sure they would honor it before paying and to clarify when I would actually see the warranty. They honored the old quote with no hassle and said I would see the paperwork posted within a week, which is exactly when I saw it.

Re: Zeigler Extended Warranties

I never would have considered buying a warranty from anyone but my dealer. That was before I joined Jeep Garage and read all the good reports about Zeigler. So that was another unexpected bonus from joining JG.

It bugs me that people have to pay sales tax on a service contract. Yes parts may be provided as part of fulfilling the service contract, but c'mon...

Guess that depends upon the state ... if you purchase a service contract at a local dealership, there is no sales tax in Colorado.
