I did see 7.8 somewhere for V6 with 8 speed.

Re: 0-60 times JGC V6 & V8

I did 6.7 0-60 on my '14 5.7L one 72F morning, two directions, according to Torque, without even trying.. out foraging for breakfast food.

Have not run the '07 yet.

Elaborate? (I'm not smart enough to understand and would like more detail on your opinion)

No... yeah, you're wrong I'm afraid. Per C/D test, 14 V6 0-60 time is 7.5 s. Exactly the same time they tested on a 2011 V8.

Wow, so no real benefit from the 8spd box...My dad recently bought a 2014 V8, maybe I can set up a little drag race with him

Read again. 2014 V6 = 2011 V8.

Dude just scroll up a little bit. It totally has to do with the 8 speed box. V6 went from 8.5/9 s to 7.5 s and V8 from 7.5s to 6.5s. Your dad is gonna smoke you

Please do drag race him and please video tape it. I don't think the '14 is that fast and would like some video "proof".

You might want to check out C&Ds instrumented hemi 8speed test before you bet any money. Expect to get smoked by a second to 60, and worse to 100.

Too bad nobody posts 0-30 times any more. Those are more significant to the stoplight grand prix than 0-60, and are heavily influenced by gearing, traction, fat low end torque curve, etc.

Interesting the 1/4 speed is 90 on the V6 compared to 93 on the V8. That one tends to be more about pure horsepower at that distance, with surprisingly little affect by gearing.

Please let us know the outcome!
I ran my friends '08 5.7 against my '12 5.7 and he smoked me.
