Just installed diablo trinity did a run stock 0-60. = 9.18 sec. Tuned it to 91 tuning and did 0-60 again with 8.66. I don't know man, ifeel a difference but was hoping better time.

0-60? Those are terrible times. Did you post some numbers incorrectly?

Agreed, if those are the correct times something is not right. As I said mine stock was 6.96.

Re: 1/4 mile Jeep WK2 5.7 stock..

a few things may come into effect. Tire size; i've put in cooper AT/3 and they are almost 32" compared to stock forteras. so my speed odometer is not correct. there is a 2-5 km difference between my odometer and the speed odometer on my escort 9500CI, i know the escort is not an accurate speed odometer but at least it tells me there is something different.

Also i ran the test with the lights instead of selecting when motion starts so there might be some milliseconds or a sec difference. Everything is in imperial and not in metric so i don't know if that makes a difference as well.

Still though I tough I would see more power. but i'll be patient with the updates. Unless someone has tunings I could try out. Or would you guy's recommend that I wait to get the diablo's official tunnings in order that I don't get pistons trough the hood..

Cheers

Hey Mate,

how the hell are you getting 6.96 stock 0-100?

I have a 11' GC 5.7 which the website states does 0-100 in 8.8 and the very best I've got it to do is 8.6

Good old fashioned stop clock to 100km/h. So 60mph should be only really .2 of a second difference at best.

We are talking about the Jeep grand Cherokee WK2 3125kg 5.7 hemi right? hehe

Well, about 2300 or 2400kg according to the spec sheet - still pretty heavy though...

If you are timing with a stop watch manually that could explain the poor time, as the reaction time could add about a half a second at start and stop, so maybe 1 second or so total. Best way to measure is with a tuner connected to the OBD interface. As for smart phone app's to measure times I've heard mixed reports, but would doubt their accuracy within half a second or so.

I measured mine with my Diablo Sport Trinity. 6.96 stock....6.52 after being tuned with CAI.
