2012 Overland 5.7 0-60 run

Everyone has talked about how slow our 5.7 is.. well it hasn't felt that way to me (butt dunno/whiplash). So today I grabbed my dash hawk and got this.

And since the trinity has a bug, I haven't been able to do any logs allowing hemifever to adjust his custom tune to my car.

Nice time. With a couple smart mods it really wakes things up it seems. Everyone needs to remember this is a 5200 lb SUV. Anything sub 7 seconds is pretty solid.

I definitely think it could break into the 5 sec. I didnt get my foot down off the line and the tune needs some adjusting for it being sluggish in the mid rpm range in 1st gear. The biggest difference is the rpm it hits right after the shifts that makes that beast leap forward. Anyone know if sport mode would help much? I left it in auto because Ive never been able to tell much difference between the two other then it hugging the corners and making tighter U turns lol.

Sport mode should help for sure. It holds the gears longer.

That's a really good time. Did you get a time before tuning for comparison?

No but I wishing did. But from what it feels like I'd say i was doing about 7.5. Ill put it back to stock once Diablo gets their trinity fixed and do a run. That just happen to be the first time I was somewhere where I could make a do it since I got my jeep.

Its got a bug that freezes it anytime you do monitoring or try data logging. Some have had issues loading tunes also. Altho I was able to get Sean's tune loaded I just cant get him logs to get it adjusted.

Hmmm - not good! Is diablo checking into these issues at all? As far as I know, they still haven't resolved the ABM issue that pops up when one tries to adjust the tire size parameter with the Trinity. That problem has been around for awhile ... ?!

Ya they know. Theres ALOT of complaints and they say they are working to get it fixed. They told someone it would be just a week from when he asked and its been like 3 weeks now. It is making them look bad. One guy said he found a way to set it up custom with different size monitors, but I'm not going to spend that much time for it to just possibly freeze anyway. Loading there preset tunes works fine and I saw a big difference with it and Sean's main adjustments made a huge difference. Just wish I could get the logs to fine tune my mods.
