Re: 2013 5.7 Hemi High Performance Programmer?

I wanted to post up a thumbs up for Sean's customer service. After a mix up with my order for my 2013 hemi, he got the trinity shipped in just a couple of days. Also turned around with my custom tune in hours this morning.

I am still on the canned 87 tune, and it is a nice improvement over stock. It shifts better, and has better response and torque as I pulled my motorcycle trailer. I will switch to the custom tune once I get enough gas burned down to get a true 89 fill tomorrow.

Another thumbs up for Sean's service. He's helped me through the downloads and uploads and now I'll be logging the data he asked for for a final tweak. I don't think the guy sleeps or takes any days off. I've gotten files from him first thing in the morning and on Sunday. It really makes me more comfortable when a vendor is there when I contact him...without fail.
Diablosport, on the other hand, is slow to respond, and only responds once a day, if that.
Hey, diddling around with the programming of my car's ECM is not something I take lightly.... I've read the horror stories... so I like to know I can get a little support if needed and Sean is right there. I fully recommend his service!
Oh..BTW... the Trinity with Hemifever Tuning has taken about 3/4 of a second off my 0-60 and I still haven't sent him my data logs yet. I'm holding off untill I get the new throttle body installed.

Re: 2013 5.7 Hemi High Performance Programmer?

I've driven a few days now with Hemifever's 89 tune, and it is a real seat of the pants difference from stock. It really helps pull my larger tires and wheels with a less effort. Mileage is about the same, but I am playing with the go pedal a lot more because it feels good! For reference my engine has the stock exhaust, with an AEM drop in filter only.

Re: 2013 5.7 Hemi High Performance Programmer?

Instead of starting a new thread, I figured I'd revive this one. Unfortunately I didn't read about this ABS bug until after I changed my tire size. Now I've got the dang ABS light on and it won't go off.

I updated the Trinity to the latest version, tried restoring to original backup, tried loading a canned diablo tune, tried HF tunes, the light stays on with all of them.

How has this gone unfixed for this long?

Is the only fix for this to take it to the dealer to get the ABS module reset?

Re: 2013 5.7 Hemi High Performance Programmer?

Did you have the latest updates on the tuner before you tried again? It looks like you did the tire change and got the light and then updated the tuner and tried again.

The issue is "fixed" far as I was aware as many folks have successfully done it. However, the updates had to be on there before you changed the tire size initially, it won't correct the light if it's already on with the latest update I don't think. I would expect that the dealer can reset the ABS, then with the latest updates on the tuner it will work.

Re: 2013 5.7 Hemi High Performance Programmer?

Yeah that's what happened, I changed the tire size, ABS came on, then updated the Trinity, light stayed on.

So after I get ABS reset, with the latest Trinity updates, and with your custom tune, I should be able to change tire size OK?

I have seen folks successfully change the tire size. Get some more feedback on here if you can, but it should work

Cool. I'm gonna try to get into the dealer one day soon to get the ABS reset and try again. I'll post my results.

Thanks for the replies Sean!

Well unfortunately the issue has not been resolved with the latest updates. I got the ABS system reset at the dealer yesterday. This morning I did some updating on the trinity to make sure it was running the latest crom version and had the latest calibration updates. With everything at the latest software versions I attempted to change the tire size and as soon as I applied the setting the ABS came back on.

Come on Diablosport!! This is ridiculous.

I guess I have to go back to the dealer again. I think at this point once I get the ABS system reset I'm just going to deal with the inaccurate speedo.

Just to clarify, the tool was using crom version 1r10g when I applied the settings.

Who exactly has done this without setting the ABS light??

What tuner & vehicle? What update version?
Isn't version 1r10g the latest update Diablo has released?

Are you referring to a WK2 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Or some other Chrysler vehicle?

Please elaborate....... this is the second time you have posted on this board that this issue has been "fixed" but apparently it is not!

Re: 2013 5.7 Hemi High Performance Programmer?

I sent this to my Diablo tech and he said to contact Diablo with it as they've not had any issues in quite some time so they aren't sure what is going on with yours.

This was their reply : It was definitely fixed, I'd love him to email us or post on our forums and be sure it's up to date. We had too many reports of it being fixed for there to be a problem, but if it's a cal we missed, it's an easy fix.
