I just ordered an AFE intake and the hypertech interceptor was going to be my next purchase but didn't know if it will void my warranty and where did u purchase yours from
From what it says on their website it does not. Plus it's plug and play and you can install/remove it in about 10 min. I actually got lucky and got it from another member on here
Hey I just order the throttle body from fastman it was $265 and I explain to him that I wanted to add the hypertech interceptor and he said that thing sucks so he recommended that I go with the diablo tunner. What's your opinion on that?
I can tell a difference with it on and also the shifting is way smoother. I don't know much about the diablo tuner but majority of the SRT guys have them but there is a lot more settings and stuff that you can put it and it pretty much tells the computer what to do. The hypertech just sends the computer better numbers to run off of. I got the hypertech because I diddnt feel like having to deal with it and make changes. The hypertech just does it's thing. I would say do the throttle body and see what you get out of it first or see if anyone has added the diablo to the 3.6 I'm curious too
Pretty sure the Diablo isn't out yet for the 2014 3.6 and that isn't the same thing as the Interceptor, that's plug and play. The Diablo has multiple tuning options and will void your warranty if the tune is left in place, from what I understand.
Right, because your actually going in and changing the computer settings itself. The interceptor only feeds the computer with better optimized info from the sensors and gas pedal. Plug and play was a no brainer for me.
Yes there is a diablo tuner out for the 2014 3.6 but I haven't heard of any jeep user that bought one. I'm still undecided if I should buy the hypertech interceptor or the diablo tuner
