Re: 2014 5.7 Corsa sound clip

No! THIS is sweet Jesus......

YjagetaJeep....correctomundo...my 0-60 times bumped up from 6.5 to 6.8 with the Corsa and Volant CAI but as you also noted, it is noticeably peppier in the middle like from a rolling start. I'd be willing to bet 0-100 times are improved but then again, times were not the intent. People hear me jump on it and then they look to see where the "hot rod" is and they kinda look past me until they realize it was a Jeep that is making that sound...kinda comical actually.

The first video is my 5th 0-60 run and I couldn't hold my iPhone very still. I will revisit my times when I get the 89 Hemifever tune, 85mm ported throttle body, BT Catch Can and change my breakin oil to Amsoil. I believe you have the Hemifever tune and 85 TB. I outta do some runs using paddle shifters too to get better peak power shifts. Listen to me....I know, shoulda got a SRT, couldn't get wifey over the extra $14,500 so I'm having a little fun with my Summit.

Hey, you're doing ok! Get that HF tuning and an 85mm Throttle body and you just might get down below where you started!
Having that power from a roll can be nice in real life too, since most of the time the race is about some a-hole in a hondamitsunissamazdai who wants to get onto the freeway before you on those two lane entrance ramps. THAT'S when the ricers are left in the dust with their jaws dropped.
Yeah...Same for me....just trying to get a little heat out of the family SUV. I really had no idea that the SRT8 was such a beast, or I would have sprung for it. I really only learned much about it here on JeepGarage. Oh well.. Maybe next year....Till then I'm still enjoying having the quickest SUV on the block, and the only one that rumbles when I start up! HAHAHA.

Re: 2014 5.7 Corsa sound clip

Sounds great, I love corsa. I had their black tip option catback on my 13 F150 raptor, which i took off and have in my garage before i traded it in for the summit. I will definitely be buying this once it comes to the public. The only exhaust i have ever had with completely ZERO interior drone.

As for the SRT,besides for the performance aspect. The summit has everything and actually a few more things the then the SRT like,Suede headliner, power folding mirrors, led puddle lights.I actually prefer the ride of the summit. The SRT is very stiff for everyday driving. However it actually is a lot softer then the 2012 SRT we previously had.
