2014 5.7L Spark Plugs ????

Was getting ready to do a spark plug change (16plugs) for the 30k mile service on our rig. Went to the dealer to get the plugs to find out they are like $17 a plug. I was under the impression we use copper plugs like the ram trucks do (which I have changed before). My owner guide says every 30k change for the Jeep, dealer says every 100k. I know the v6 has the 100k change interval. Long story short I told the dealer to get lost since they had no clue what I was talking about. They have not changed plugs on a 14 yet. So I am asking any of you guys if you know anything about the plugs on the 5.7L hemi in a 14 jeep. Thanks!!!

Go to Jeep.com and download the latest owners manual. 100,000 is correct.

Jeep was very slow in getting the manual up to date, seven versions and counting.

Re: 2014 5.7L Spark Plugs ????

My 2014 Summit 5.7l manual says 100k
WK2Jeeps.com says 100k for 2014

2013 manual says 30k for 5.7l
Wk2Jeeps.com says 30k for 2013

The early version of the owners manual says 30k later version says 100k. The 2014 5.7 is supposed to be 100k

Ok thanks guys!! Anyone know if you can put these 100k plugs into previous versions of the 5.7l? Or are they programmed into the ecu? different coils?

I've read that if you try to run platinum or iridium plugs in the 2013's or earlier there have been problems with it throwing error codes, sometimes...

Do a search for spark plugs in the how to section. Lots of discussions on it.
