If I was to do it all over again I'd have just gotten the SRT from the Start and modified that ...at least upgrades are available easily for the SRT

not to mention they're cheaper than trying to have custom parts made for the 3.6L ...since no one is ever stupid enough to try to make a V6 into a 600Hp + Jeep...except me ..
Any youtube vids of your rig? I've seen some supercharged 3.6 l but not yours in particular.

I'll post some updated vids as soon as the new engine is fully installed and tuned

I'll try getting some vids of the dyno tuning as well

Re: 2017 upgrades?

**Update** I went ahead and ordered the sprint booster for the 2014-15 model. Works perfect in the 2017 in case any other '17 owners are on the fence.

I've read from one 2016 owner that it turned off the start/stop feature in their jeep but mine still works the same.

First impression, I really like it! I've only tried green so far but the throttle response feels much better on that setting. I installed it late at night, put it on green and removed the selection cable so it's on green all the time.

Now I'm starting to look at the intakes again, still on the fence if their worth it. I have a service coming up and plan to ask the guys there if changing the intake will effect my warranty, I know the answer is no but I want to see how this new dealership handles aftermarket parts.

Re: 2017 upgrades?

I'm not sure why everyone here seems so worried about voiding their warranties with these simple bolt ons or plug ins?

I think it has a lot to do with the relationship you have with your dealer/service center

My service center is not the place I bought my Jeep but they continue to cover issues under warranty even though I have a big supercharger system obviously attached to the engine

Wow, I would have definitely thought that would void your engine and drive train.

For me it's just because it's my wife's Jeep and she doesn't want any of this stuff on there, but since I'm the one driving every time we go on a trip I like to enjoy a little bit more spirited drive.

This is a new dealership and the only time we've been there is to buy the Jeep, so I'll wait and ask.

Re: 2017 upgrades?

thats a really nice jeep ! your comment about hopping up the mini bike has me cracking up, i bet i could drink a few beers with you !

ill check out the sprint mod, i hadnt heard of it.

i do put CAI on all my cars, what ive learned is it really only adds hp if you are pushing more air thru the engine (ie forced induction).

otherwise, it just sounds cool. i dont suggest them unless you go with the SC just because theres no reason to risk water ingestion or any other side effect for no gain. i doubt the warranty would be an issue, unless the problem you came in with had to do with the air intake system. ive got 1 on my durango RT V8 and they never say anything about it. the ECU mod would be different story i bet, they usually are doing updates everytime im in there so they would certainly catch that and flag it.

what are those engine pieces laying on the ground in the pic above ??! looks like it sh!t the bottom end.

The mini doodle, slapped a predator 212 engine in and then added a high flow intake and free flow exhaust plus changed out the jets. It will pick up the front end with ease if you gun it.
