Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

I Definitely don't want to go with the Dynomax. That's way too loud for my taste. I'm looking for a low mellow town w/ little to no drone.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Also, anyone have any fitment issues with an aftermarket hitch such as the Curt class III/IV?

I'm currently getting a quote for the MagnaFlow 16929 and the Corsa #14457

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Got more info on the magnaflow 15064 for the WK2 SRT-8. The pipe diameter is 3". Way too big for 3.6 in my opinion.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Why didn't you just buy a hemi??? For 3 mpg difference and all that HP well worth the purchase price and you don't run the risk of voiding any of the manufacturers warranty coverage. If you read the fine print... ANY MOD can VOID THE WARRANTY.. that's right.. ANY MOD... go figure...

long light in beginning,,,sorry,,,fast forward a little.

There is absolutely no drone on the freeway....don't have a vid but there is none.
Wide-open throttle sounds great as well as passing gear.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

For those that did the install, were you purchasing the lower fascia through the dealership or online? The online stores have a lower price but the shipping costs make it more cost effective to buy through the dealer. Thanks.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

so i can't replicate the You Tube vid of the Borla dual for hemi bolted onto the V6 TrailHawk? bummer. my V6 is sluggish but i didn't want to spend 2k more on a V8, which is what I traded in. Boo.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Finally ordered my parts..
-Hanger/Bracket (68056521ac)
-Rubber Isolator (52128501aa) (Qty2)
-Screw (6101793)
-Nut (6502696)
-Rear Lower Bumper Fascia (68111469AA - this is the new part# for '11 - '12 WK2 5.7L)
$273.46 CDN

-Magnaflow 16929 - $1206.67 CDN
Got this from Hott Exhaust. They have a coupon ($234.41 savings) if you "Like" them on Facebook. Shipping was free and they have a warehouse in Ontario, Canada so I don't incur duty/brokerage fees

Went with the Magnaflow mainly because of price & reviews. Also I have an aftermarket hitch which might get in the way of the other systems & at least I know I can get the tail pipes bent from a shop properly if they do. Got my other parts from the dealer, friend works there so was able to get a 20% discounted rate. All this was still cheaper then ordering online due to shipping/duty/brokerage fees to Toronto, Canada.

*Yes you see in the pics of my quote/order confirmation a very high tax rate. I live in Toronto, Canada. HST is 13% here. I'm paying $170.28 in taxes. In my view a small price to pay to live in the beautiful North... but that's another debate I won't open up. We all have our views on it, LOL

**YES I will post before and after pics/video. I'll take the time to do in cabin (windows open/close) and outside video.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

the Magnaflow just showed up at my office and the box is massive if you were ever wondering. Fits in the back of the GC with seats folded down. Also on my way to the dealership to pick up the lower valence, hanger, bolt, screw, etc.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Diggin this so much. I might want it a decibel higher, but looks amazing bro! Thanks for sharing and inspiring. Couple questions: what kind of HP increase have you noticed? Hottexhaust part # and is listed for the Hemi 5.7 yet you had no figment issues right? Who installed yours? How did you get the discounted price on the body parts?
