To answer all your questions..
-I haven't dyno'd it so I don't know about HP gains. It feels like it has a bit more peppiness to it but that's probably because I reset the system by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 10mins to have the ecu do the self learning process
-http://www.hottexhaust.com/Magnaflow_16929 yes this is for the 5.7L hemi. o fitment issues at all
-I installed the exhaust myself
-got the discounted because a close friend of mine works at a dealership here in Toronto

***I'm going to wait a week or two to produce the in cabin and drive by videos. The Magnaflow's need about a 200mile break in period apparently.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

If you were local, I'd totally pay you to install this on my Jeep. I have the Trailhawk with the off road ll package so theres steel plating the length of the underside. But you sound like you know a thing or two so that might not matter too much, just take longer?

Look forward to the vids!

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Ok so I'm bored and excited so I made the in cabin video. There's 3 of them. This is only after day 2 and less then 100kms. I can still smell the oil burning off the exhaust. I'll do more vids after 2 weeks when they're properly broken in. Magnaflow says its supposed to get slightly louder and deeper. We will see. *I should also note that i do have an Airaid cold air intake

*All videos recorded using a GoPro Hero3

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

In video 3 when you accelerate hard from a stop it sounded amazing. If it gets louder after break in, this might be what I go with, though I really like how the Borla sounds as well. Tad out of my price range.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

I have not seen mention of this in any thread but, as an FYI, my 2014 3.6L Summit came from the factory with a dual exhaust. I think it sounds pretty good when I get on it.

I just have to reply/post on this comment...

#1 - As MANY people have stated, they didn't want the Hemi because the V6 fits their needs (including better mileage). NOTE that the Magnaflow dual exhaust has provided INCREASED mileage for everyone who has installed it (as long as they can keep their foot off the fun pedal).

#2 - Aftermarket modifications WILL NOT void the manufacturer warranty. Check the wording of the Moss-Magnuson Act:
Magnuson
The manufacturer must prove that the aftermarket part you installed caused the failure. Putting an aftermarket SS exhaust on the vehicle will NOT void your warranty.

If everyone followed your logic, then even Mobil1 synthetic oil would void the warranty.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

I have also looked into duel exhaust on the v6. Very easy to install. It has duel exhaust up to after the cats, and the pipes are secured by spring loaded bolts. Some 2014 v6 pentastar comes with factory duel exhaust but also has the 8 speed tranny so that would be a big difference from the nag1 in the 2011-2013 models. If anyone in Alberta wants to have their exhaust kit installed i can do it no problem, pm me if any work is wanted to be done for that matter. I have been working in a Chrysler dealer for 8 years. I can also hook anyone up on oem parts since i get a discount of cost plus 10%. I was also looking into a twin turbo kit or super charger kit for the 3.6L, only thing is the kit for turbo i found is for a charger and the supercharger is for the wrangler, and i want to know if it would fit for the GC, anyone have any further info on this?
P.S after market mods are also at the discretion of the dealer or who is working on your vehicle, also on what your complaining about. If you need new heads due to a misfire for example, if you have aftermarket exhaust and a high flow intake, i don't see it being a issue. However if you have a blower installed on it for example will most likely void the warranty. Keep in mind though if a dealer DSM inspects your vehicle and sees even an after market intake, warranty is restricted.

Depends what your opinion of good tone is. I've heard many dynomax systems in the past and on other vehicles. All ranging from 4cyl-8cyl. some turbo, some NA. All I can say is that the dynomax exhaust systems are LOUD. mostly deep toned but very very loud.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Hey guys. Got the dynomax exhaust installed today. Came out to $460 from Amazon. Can't beat that. Here's a quick start up shot. Watch it HD for better sound. More to come

that sounds pretty good but i'd like to hear a lot more than that. maybe once the idle levels out a bit.... sounds pretty loud in that video.
