Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Does anyone know about fitting the Gibson dual exhaust onto the 3.6L?

I can't tell if it comes with all the tubing I'd need to fit it properly...

*Looks like these aren't all of the tubes I'd need to add to a single exhaust...but I'm not positive.
Gibson Exhaust ORDERED

You're going to need at least the middle suit case muffler from a V8 Grand Cherokee. The v8 model's middle suit case muffler has dual outlets. Or you could get the middle section from either Borla, Corsa, Magnaflow, or Flowmaster. Personally I'd get the oem one or get it custom made to save some $$$

That sounds like what I was expecting. I'm looking into it and thanks for your help!

*Searching around a bit, the best I could find for what I think is the correct part number (52124739AJ) is still ~$680. Along with the Gibson system, that's still around the same price as all of the full dual exhaust kits. It actually looks like I could possibly find a whole Magnaflow setup like many of you guys have, for less than it would cost to get an OEM dual muffler combined with the dual Gibson.

I may just hold out and see if I can get lucky with a great price on any of the other major dual systems or just get the Gibson for the single exit. The Magnaflow cat-back for the single exit also looks nice too, but is obviously quite a bit more than the Gibson. Any reason one or the other would be better besides the price?

I also ruled out the Dynomax, as I read about quite a few WK2 owners that weren't liking how loud it was and it seems like the quality isn't up to par. Guess that's why it's so cheap.

I'm trying to figure out which part number I need exactly for the rear bumper cover with dual cut outs for exhaust, for a 2014 Laredo E that has the tow package.

Everyone within this thread and others that has listed the number is either using an older WK2 or one without the tow hitch cut out.

I believe this is the right one: LOWER COVER - Jeep Part # 68111470AA

*Edit* - 99% positive this is the right one. I'll report back when I can confirm.
