Hi ants818,

I've been sick and traveling, haven't been able to get to the dyno as planned.

Are you going to Dyno before and after? This would be the most helpful to all that are wondering.

My issue is I'm trying to finnd the part number for the lower back valance/skirt from a 2012 WK2 for the Hemi that will give me the two cutouts for the exhaust tips.
Did you go to Lou's in Lawrence? Mike that runs the show there is one of the most clever guys you will ever deal with.I had him just remove the resonators and weld on some nice 3 1/2" double wall tips on my hemi and it gave me the sound I was looking for.Not to loud and you know its a V8.
Good luck

I wasn't going to but I made a few phone calls today and all the places by me are a little to far and costly. It would be nice but I don't really feel its worth the dough, as a place would have to dyno, install the exhaust, then dyno again to get accurate results.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

If anyone has a 5.7L original exhaust that they removed to install an aftermarket Cat Back system in the Southern California area; I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands. I know, I know, I'm just so helpful. Is it cluttering up your garage? Isn't adding as much as you'd imagined to the appearance of your front porch? Your wife wants it out of the Living Room? . . . whatever.

Bumper parts:
1. Lower rear bumper without tow package (68078317AA)
2. Heat shield - Left side muffler (68090953AA)
3. Screws (3 or 4) for attaching heat shield to bumper (68090949AA). I only used 3 of these (see bumper parts #4).
4. Push nut/clip (1) for attaching heat shield to bumper (see pic). I'm not sure of the part # as i didn't order this. I used a 1/4" dia x 1" long bolt, nut & washer.
5. Rivets (2) for reattaching the rear quarter panel molding to properly attach the heat shield to the bumper (6500911)

Exhaust Parts:
1. Rubber exhaust insulator (2) (52128501AA)
2. Exhaust hanger, Left side rear (68056521AB)
3. Screw for attaching exhaust hanger (6101793)
4. Nut for attaching exhaust hanger (6101809)

This information was collected from what's available on-line and in the parts manual.
I have updated my original post with confirmed installed parts that I used to convert the single exhaust to dual exhaust.

Now I just need to install the exhaust!

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

rexx300 - VERY NICE!!!! so you simply bought the 5.7 dual and the hangar and that was it? plug and play? seems too easy.

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

It sure seems like a 5.7 dual would fit. The space and the hangar arm are right there, just waiting....

Re: 3.6 dual exhaust

Here is the finished install. I decided to go with Magnaflow 16929 because I was already considering them since they were the only ones who offered an aftermarket for the 3.6L, plus I wanted a little sound. The Jeep is really dirty because it hasn't stopped raining since the install, so excuse the pics. It took me and a friend about 2.5 hours to complete and it bolts right up!

My previous parts list has all the stuff needed to install, although, you really don't need the heat shields in the rear bumper for the Magnaflow. The muffler sits in the middle rear, but I did use some heat shielding tape (found at a local auto store) to wrap around the black wires shown in the last pic. There is just enough sound from the Magnaflow, very close to the single exhaust audio clip found on their website. I love the sound and looks of this mod, well worth it!
