Does anyone know if there is a dual exhaust out for the 3.6L 2012 wk2? i've tried searching and talking to the dealership about this and can't find anything. thanks.
Looks like there is a takeoff exhaust system from a Hemi on ebay for $99 in New Jersey right now. A little too far for me to drive, but looks like a good deal for someone interested in trying the swap.
is this hemi exhaust supposed to be a straight bolt on? i understand i need to a driver side hanger and the rear bumper piece..but for 100 bux aint too bad to rock a dual exhaust..
im on factory mopar, all those parts arent showing up. Any other possible sites? I just figure it would be easier to order them all from the same place
Ok I was able to locate all the parts, Im sorry for whoring out this message board with my constant questions, Im just a bit antsy and really want this mod done. Last and final question before I install and post a video Is everyone in agreement that with the magnaflow exhaust (Mid mount muffler) that the heat shield for the driver side is uneccessary since there is no muffler there

You are correct. I installed it but that's because I did the bumper mod before I got the exhaust. Both heat shields in the rear bumper are not needed for the magnaflow. I would get some exhaust tape and wrap that wire as shown in a pic in one of my previous posts, its very close to the muffler.
thanks alot, I appreciate the quick response I just ordered the bumper parts and the exhaust, hopefully itll get here this week and I can install it on friday
Would it be improper to say that behind the dual cats (and that was a surprise), an even fire 6 is better off with a single free flowing exhaust ? Is easier to maintain inertia and sound is smoothed.
Why can't ups deliver quicker! It's 70 degrees today and tomorrow my two days off this week. It'll probably rain the next 5 days I have off when the parts come in
So today, finally my lower bumper piece came. I decided I would get a headstart on tomorrows day off project of installing the magnaflow dual exhaust, and put on the lower bumper. Not quite sure they could have made some of those metal clips any more difficult to remove. One specifically was located on the passenger side behind the heat shield. Im hoping the heat shield truely isnt necessary as I damaged it quite a bit when trying to take the lower off. This swap took me approximately an hour to remove and install the new lower with the dual cutouts.
For someone whos done this install already, assuming all the parts I have are correct, how long would you estimate it would take to removed the old exhaust and put the new one in not counting the bumper replacement. Just trying to determine if I will have enough time to get it done and take care of it properly tomorrow. Thanks alot, super pumped to do this Mod.
I have the Magnaflow dual setup on my Durango heat. Its a work of art! SS piping with two resonators midway, followed by an x pipe and then two mufflers just before two 5" tips. Its a little tame for me...but perfect for my wife.
Im uploading a vid now to photobucket. I did one so I have one before the airaid install. I promise Ill do one tomorrow in the light. The sound on the vid is a little buzzy. My daughter helped me and got a little too close.
