3.6l vvt

Quick possibly dumb question....under my 14 v6 overland it just says v6 on the engine cover. On pictures I see others have v6 and then VVT under that. Seems strange to me, any thoughts? I can post a picture later. If you have a v6 (not diesel) what does yours say?

Sorry if I am missing something.

Re: 3.6l vvt

Right but is VVT an option on the v6? I don't see any options as such.

Re: 3.6l vvt

Colby is messing with you. All 3.6's have VVT. Jeep has changed the engine cover a few times on the 3.6L Grand Cherokees that i have seen. Seems the 2011's say 3.6 and isn't painted. My wifes 2012 says 3.6L VVT and is painted silver and my 2014 just says V6 like yours.
