There is an easy fix for your 0-60 time woos, a 75-100 shot of nitrous would definitely get those times down if you were so inclined. Also, assuming you don't overdo it and don't hit the "Lightspeed" button at every traffic light, it shouldn't do too much harm to the motor and drivetrain components if set up correctly.
Good idea, but the risk of voiding the new car warranty - too great. Even if removing hardware for each dealer visit, a good tech could spot the evidence of the crime.
In the old days you could add CAI and headers/free-flow exhaust to relieve an asthmatic V8. Not so easy (or legal) now, and I have no idea what the current 5.7 exhaust manifold looks like, i.e., how inefficient it is or isn't.

Some of us do.

The Jeep SRT can tow and go with some of the best.

Yeah, agreed. I absolutely care about 0-60 times. For some of us, we have exactly one car and it has to do everything well. I don't have the luxury of a sports car, a dedicated offroad vehicle and so on.
