Re: 5.7 hemi Corsa redesign

Mine is installed, but the tips stick out from the bumper farther then I like. They didn't make the expansion joint long enough. The tips don't go on all the way. They are sending me 2 more tips done right.

Re: 5.7 hemi Corsa redesign

Dyno results are in - full writeup to follow.

Uncorrected.

Baseline -
HP:275
TQ:317
62*F, 50% humidity, Sea Level

Corsa -
HP: 284
TQ: 329
74*F, 31% humidity, Sea Level

Got a bit heat soaked during runs - IATs were climbing.

Done at English Racing - Dynojet AWD dyno.

Thank you for sharing your results. Considering you were using a Dynojet, I would of expected to see higher RWHP and RWTQ numbers for your vehicle. Were the rwhp and rwtq numbers higher across the whole area (start to finish)? And then peaking at 9rwhp and 8rwtq? Or if you post the graph, that would be helpful.

My kit from Corsa came in last week, so I'll be looking to get it installed and back on the dyno within the next 10 days.

Thanks again
Michael Plummer

Working on a writeup of the installation...I'll have the dyno results posted on there.

The tips on mine stick out more than I like too...

Re: 5.7 hemi Corsa redesign

My new tips are coming tomorrow. If the weather is not to bad I'm going to put them on. then I'll take pics. No point in taking pics of the tips that stick out farther then I like.

Re: 5.7 hemi Corsa redesign

Maybe a little tilt. I think once there in more they will look more level. I'm getting to like the sound. It was a little on the loud side at first. You have to peddle it just right to keep her quiet. Sounds terrific at 3000 RPMs going through the gears. Interstate driving on the flats you can't hear it. When you get to a hill and have to give it some gas. It's there. After all it is a performance system and it sounds like a Hemi now.
