You could buy an SRT

Very true. Albeit you'll be spending about twice as much.

You mean x pipe. Why "y" something with factory duals?

Re: 5.7L Hemi - where's the horsepower hiding?

You could... but a y is how it comes from the factory, at least that was the way it was on my ram. Unless your doing heads, Supercharging, or adding headers an x pipe is not needed. Keep it as close to stock as possible. With what I outlined you should be able to pick up 40 hp to the wheels. That's enough to feel something. I was running 6.7-6.8 0-60 in ram with just exhaust, Cai, and a tune.
If I lived in a warm climate I would throw headers on and an x pipe!

This is the mangaflow setup on a 5.7 Laredo. It replaces the large suitcase muffler with two smaller ones and one reso at the end. Includes x pipe

Damn! why didn't they do that same set up on the ram? that's a great set up! well, if it came from the factory with 'true' dual, instead of 'sudo' duals like my ram, I guess I would go with the x pipe.
