So if you are a street racer or a stunt driver, get the SRT8.

I am neither but like the extra power more than the gas savings.

Did I read in another thread you have a v6 mustang also? That shouldn't even be an option in a mustang IMO.

Re: Advice needed.. V6 or V8?

Here's a quick summary of the 100's of previous posts on this subject.

V8 V6

I got the V6 because I didn't see a need for the V8. We will be taking alot of longer trips in it and driving range is better. Towing will occur (about 4300 lbs) for short distances (25 miles or less). Off roading for me is some moderate dirt roads that won't require amazing capabilities, mostly to get to fishing or camping spots. Been up some hilly roads going out to the oregon coast without problem. Did well in the little bit of snow we had since purchase in early March. If I wanted to do more and heavier towing or more serious off road stuff, the V8 would have been better. Best to evaluate what kind of driving you will do and then decide. And if i want to drive a Hemi, I can always borrow my father-in laws 300 SRT8. Now thats a Hemi.

It's not an option. They come standard that way.

No, the GT is standard V8. GT isn't an option. Nore is the Shelby. What you have is the cheapo base model designed for women who want the looks but don't care about the speed. Are you painting it pink?

Seriously...are you 5 years old? Next you're going to tell him that your daddy can beat up his daddy and make a fat joke about his mom.

No, the GT is an option as well, and, sorry for you, isn't available in pink. Why don't you know this stuff?

2 stroke vs 4 stroke is next on the list

Re: Advice needed.. V6 or V8?

I bought a Troy-Bilt 4-stroke weed whacker about three years ago and it burns more oil than my 15 year old cheepie two stroke that I thought was on its last legs. The two stroke is still running.
