I have had my drop in dryflow filter for over 45k miles. And since my MPG has been slightly dropping i figure lets give this a clean. I have clean KN before but not the dryflow filters. It says its pretty straight forward. Hose it down opposite of the air flow. Let it dry good and reinstall. Well i did that and im not sure if it did me any good. My question is, would yall go through the trouble of cleaning a filter like this or just straight up replacement? At $50 to $60 a piece it shouldn't be bad every 40k miles. But they are advertise same as KN as 100k filter, thoughts???
How'd it work out? I'm gonna clean mine with it this coming week. Whenever I go in for an oil change I swap in my original stock filter so the dealer doesn't give me any shit while my AEM filter is cleaning and drying out. Works out perfect :-D
