aFe CAI coming this week

I ordered aFe CAI last week should be here by Friday, will post pictures and results when installed and ready to go.. next step. catch can.

Anybody running the aFe? would like some feedback and what not to know what to expect from it compared to the others that I opted not to buy.

It was my WK2 that aFe used for prototype development of the intake.

I loved the way it sounded! It may have just been butt dyno/placebo, but it felt decently "snappier" in the low end and mid ranges and the fuel economy increased by about 1.5mpg

That is correct. I had to return the prototype and I'm anxiously waiting for my own to arrive in the mail

I got it for 292 shipped, not sure where from a buddy of mine got from a friend that works for a supplier. I am very pleased with the intake the only thing I have noticed that was a little off was the tube that I got was metal instead of plastic like they said but has a cool badge on the front of it and the coupler that goes onto the throttle body was a little large but clamped down it seals properly. other than that very happy the sound is great, lots of whistling, and it roars under hard acceleration but is quiet as stock cruising. Havent had it long enough to notice any gas mileage increase but the performance gains are definitely there in first and second gear the most. Also cleans up the under hood a lot I would def recomend this over the K&N partially just to be a little differant then the typical intake and because the build and finish is pretty sweet. will post some videos soon but here is a picture!
