Re: AFE Momentum GT CAI - anyone tried it?

Greetings,

You are correct.

I installed the Magnum Force. I am in the wrong thread.

Cold Air Intake System Stage-2 Magnum FORCE Intake System; Stage 2 Pro 5R; Jeep Grand Cherokee; 11-14 V6-3.6L 54-12122 - aFe Power

It was this thread that led me to further research on AFE products. I also consulted my mechanic at my local Jeep service center. He always liked AFE products.

Once I get my initial impressions on the Magnum Force CAI after my road trip next week, I will post them on a new thread.

Best for now.

No worries. Would like to hear your thoughts on your new intake. I have the K&N currently but am considering a switch to the Momentus due to it using the fresh air duct of the factory intake.

I also have a Magnaflow exhaust on the way. Anxious to see how it performs.

I'm debating between the K&N and the aFe. I've heard great things about the K&N, but it looks like the aFe performs slightly better. As long as it sounds as good as the K&N, I think I'm sold. Anyone else have any input in favor of one or the other?

Re: AFE Momentum GT CAI - anyone tried it?

This reminds me of the C.A.I(cold air inductions inc) intake. Theirs also has a cover on top and open from the bottom. What about this one?
