You sir are correct, to a degree...here are my observations:
I don't want to blanket-statement all WK2 owners/users on here as there are some very helpful and knowledgeable people that bring a lot to the site. WK/WJ/JK/CJ etc are heavily involved and not afraid to try new things, share their experiences and collaborate...BUT I have noticed a lot of changes in the almost 7 years I have been a member. When the WK2 owners flooded the site (around 2011/12), they began posting threads without doing any research, site searching or any initial le/rig work. No photos, vague questions without providing the base info to even answer the inquiy, with litltle to-no follow-up. They just want the answer now and want all the information...instant gratification without contributing. There were some pioneers, but far less quality in comparisom to other platforms. I do understand the WK2 has more electronics and is not as "simple" to work on...but the site changed IMO
Rant over...this is just something that has bothered me for a while and glad someone else mentioned it. We are a community and I am proud to be a JG member and have met amazing people that are now friends!!
SOO back to why we are here. Has anyone done the aFe or Magnum Force or Momentum GT on a 2014 V6? What else did you consider? K&N seems to be a popular option. Mopar intake anyone? I like the GT asthetic wise in the 3.6L engine bay vs the SRT...and the Momentun w/ exposed Pro Dry S filter looks and suonds great. Please also post your exhaust setup with your intake model
I have an eFe Magnum Force Pro Dry S on my SRT and love it! The fit and finish is stellar, and their customer servie was top-notch in the two interactions I had (no issues with the product, just had some questions and needed a torx bolt). Had it on for +6k miles and just recently posted my best 0-60 time... 3.9 seconds! Only other performance mod is full Corsa cat-back exhaust. This pairing, for my needs, is great!!
