Very pleased with the tuner
Oh I don't doubt his ride is nice. You WK2 owners got some things I like and wish I could have in my 2008 lol.

I'm in the V6 camp as well and agree that the tuner does make things better. I too can spin em on take off in auto or auto stick mode. And I don't even have boost like he does lol

Re: Another Pentastar Trying To Wake Up

StrongJeff....I have the 2014 WK2 ...I had the factory dual exhaust ...the gibson requires cutting the factory pipes and welding their system on to the existing exhaust from the axle forward...it's not a true cat back as you need to have the factory dual exhaust coming from the cats...or you'll have to add extra piping etc...

My Jeep is tuned with a specific tune for the Boosted system...I meant I never tried a tune with the factory setup...with 6/7 lbs of boost I'm putting down 330AWD WHP right now...soon RIPP will have the Stage 2 boost kit ready and that will jump to the 400+ AWD WHP range...Can't wait!

That's awesome numbers bro! As for the exhaust, boy do i know lol. I built a dual setup in my 3.7 and it sounds nasty for a 6

CAI: K&N or an AFE CAI (Momentum?)
Dual Exhaust System (not so much for sound but to increase air flow): Stock Hemi dual exhaust or a Magnaflow dual exhaust system.
Tuner: Diablo Sport Trinity with hemifever custom tunes
Throttle Body Spacer: not too sure about this one

Any feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

P.S. excuse me if there are existing threads about this topic and these specific parts.
You might check for a larger throttle body, not a spacer. Spacer is snake oil.

AFE seems good but find their dyno charts a bit inconsistent. Can't go wrong with K&N. I had a Volant closed box CAI on a 5.4l Expedition. It was quieter to appease the wife but allowed the truck to really breath when I was WOT.
If you already have duals then yes but if not save your money and get a single side swept Gibson either way.
Look at SCT Tuner after installing CAI, throttle body and exhaust.

Re: Another Pentastar Trying To Wake Up

I tried 2 different ported throttle body's on my 2014 3.6L and they really don't make any noticeable diff in power..I ended up putting one on my 2015 Durango Citadel and the other on my GC and it's really not worth the money.

The Supercharger is the only real BIG HP adder...

When I had the ported TB/K&N/ Gibson Setup it did have good throttle response and sounded really mean ...

this is what the Gibson Exhaust looks like on my jeep

Re: Another Pentastar Trying To Wake Up

Has anyone done any 0-60 time trials with their mods?

Re: Another Pentastar Trying To Wake Up

I did the following in order;
-Airaid CAI (didn't notice any significant performance gain or mileage to warrant cost)
-Magnaflow 16929 dual exhaust kit (Other then sound, there was a little bit better responsiveness. Possibly from combining the intake with this.)
-Diablosport with hemifever tunes (Probably the most bang for your buck performance increase)

**The diablosport is probably the best performance gain you will get on the pentastar without having to go with a supercharger. I've got tunes from hemifever for 87, 91, and 93 octane. All give much better gains over stock settings. The biggest gain is the torque I'm getting. Definitely helps with towing the boat

Re: Another Pentastar Trying To Wake Up

I never got any accurate 0-60 times with my previous mods ..cai/exhaust /throttle body

But I did recently get some 0-60 passes on my supercharged setup

Best to date is 4.6sec ..launching at 3000 rpm ..not real world to me though as you wouldn't normally be launching like this ..even though all the Srt guys here post their best times with launch control

Real world..just mashing the pedal my best to date is 5.2 seconds ..

Not bad for a 3.6l v6

I'd love to see what an Srt does 0-60 without launch control though
