Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

Scott (Superchips), it's been awhile and this post has wondered in multiple directions.
Getting back to thread's main objective... to keep informed on Programmers for PCM.

Can you share new updates and optimistic news as to code breaking status and projected timeframe for programmer tuner?

Thanks for any updates!

We are almost ready to release our new Cummins tuning. We Hope what we have learned from the Cummins application can also help us move forward with gas applications.

Judging by the lack of product offerings it seems that the entire market is waiting for us to crack these codes

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

Scott - When and if the tuner comes out, will we have full control over timing as well? or is your application only pnp?

I noticed on your site that you have "tunes" however based on everyone's setup these tunes may not be ideal. I am looking to run e85 once codes can be cracked, however to get the most out of 105 octane fuel I need to be able to advance the hell out of timing and can safely run in lean burn when there is little to no load. Do you plan on having an e85 tune as part of your package?

Thanks

I dont get what the problem is, are these that much different from diesel computers? I have several choices for programers on my 2012 Ram cummins. What is the deal?

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

Does anyone have a 180F or 185F thermostat for a Pentastar ? All I want to do is run everything about 10% cooler since I live in a hot climate. Do not like 206-210F coolant all of the time. Everything gets hot.

Besides that I really really want to keep the IAT down to 100F, am seeing 140+ often, & may need a CAI, the stock intake "hose" seems to have furnaces built in.

All for longetivity. I tend to keep cars I like for decades.

You might want to post this elsewhere. but we've debated this till those with physics understanding have beaten their brains to a pulp. lowering your water temp will do nothing to prevent overheating. Air coming by the IAT sensor is rushing by so fast that the temperature of the block will not affect it (unless you're sitting at idle and you're in a heatsoak situation)

From past experiences JET chips are garbage, the Wk2 computer will easily auto correct it's self.

hell even WJ's auto corrected out the gains from the Chip. Worthless save your money for gas.
