Has anyone heard any news on release dates for an ECM Performance Programmer? Spoke with a BullyDog Tech in January and he reported they had one in "planning" but too soon for a release date. I've gotten zip from the other manufactures.
With BWoody Air Intake released & 3 Flavors of Cat-back, was looking for a programmer too!
Well after a week of owning my
Jeep I can not wait for superchips to crack the code! They really made the stock tune conservative. This is my 4th hemi and by far the slowest and most unresponsive.
Keep up the good work and let us know how it's going.
Also just wondering if the option to turn off MDS will be available. So I can put on a good sounding exhaust with out drone.

All you have to do is press the Tow-Haul button and the MDS is disabled.I am still waiting for my Predator to be updated, but atleast I can disable the MDS for the better sounding exhaust.
Thank you all for your patience with us. We are working tirelessly to get 2011 support for all 3 OEM's and hope to have something available soon for your applications.
I am guessing that MDS options should be available for those equipped. I will know more once we are writing the files to the PCM's without the security features blocking us.
We haven't tested any 2012's yet so I can't offer much info on that at the moment but if nothing has changed between 2011 and 2012 then there shouldn't be any issues.
Superchip is getting close per Scott's posting. Has there been any updates on the Diablo unit? Other than some possible custom tuners, has anyone heard of any of the other companies working on a WK2 Hemi unit?
As testing and tuning gets closer; any apx estimates on HP or Tq gains?
Waiting for a programmer unit is getting to be about as long as waiting for the WK2!
Based on what I have seen from my data logging of the stock tune as far as PE Lambda values, PE delay, and ignition timing I would not be shocked if we see gains of 30 whp and 30 wtrq with just some tuning. The biggest gains though should be in drivability by changing upshift and downshift points and removing some of the torque management it should really wake this engine up.
We have tire and gear correction for 2011 and 2012 Jeep and Dodge models. If you currently own a 752001, 52001, pc52001 from your last Chrysler vehicle all it needs is a update.
It works on all Jeep SUV's and Wrangler from 2007-2012
Hey Scott... Im now stationed out of Homestead Florida (Just South of Miami)... and I would be more than willing to let you take a crack at our 2011 JGC Lorado 2wd 5.7L.
Bump.... SUPERCHIPS SCOTT... Is their an update? I have been getting tons of New Jeep owners contacting us for tuning options for the New HEMI... Please give us somthing to tell them.
We would hate to leave them no other option but to take their business to B&G to get a PCM hack job. Been their done that... It was one of the most expensive T-Shirts I have ever purchased!
We are eager to get these things out to our customers!
Engineering can't guarantee any solid date yet but we have moved the release date of the VIVIVD PAQ to December so I am hopeful that will give them a chance to release it with 2011 support.
As I hear more I will be sure to let everyone know.
Are we still slated for a December release? Got the BPU's installed and am itching to lean out the mixture and advance the timing! Would you guys ever consider adding in an option for an Ethanol sensor that would be placed in the fuel line so we could auto tune for e85 mixtures? having the option of 105 octane fuel would allow us to advance the hell out of the motor
Well according to the superchips forum Ron is saying January for "sure". My bet is late February early March. Not sounding like any time soon. But keep up the work I'm sure it's frustrating. Chrysler seems to always be a PITA. Let's hope it's not a 2003 dodge ram hemi problem where we are SOOL
@frydryce, I dont think Dec was ever a release date. I dont even think the security has been cracked yet. Its been an on going and long process which was originally going to be released last March-May but without getting into the PCM, nothing can happen yet.
I talked with management this morning about the schedule and it's not looking like we will make it out before the holidays. I would say some time in January.
Thanks for the update Scott. I'm not familiar with how chips work since on my past cars I have used piggyback or standalone ECU's for fuel/ignition tuning. Do we have the option to fine tune the fuel/timing maps that come with your chip or are we locked in?
Some of the JK's allow us to add the option for spark advance but fuel is regulated by the programming and does not currently have a user adjustable feature. As we get feedback and feature requests from users I can better plead the case to the team and hopefully that will allow for more of these kinds of options to be available in the future.
That's pretty much how we got the Advanced Trans Tuning to the users hands.
Scott, you are way better versed at the advantages and technical capabilities of a tuner including fuel, air, fuel type, trans shifter points, speed limiters, and whatnot.
My additional request is a bit simpler, please, for the love of god, fix this aweful ETC throttle lag for us?
I cant beleive there is still nothing available... It sucks waiting!!!!
Scott... let me know if you need a Test vehicle, we have a WK2 LOREDO 2WD HEMI... Not sure how many you guys have in your area... we are just 30min South of Miami....

Does anyone know if we will be able to adjust features like quadra lift? I would like to be able to drive at any speed with the truck raised up. The factory settings are useless.
