I see the Hypertech works on the Durango as well... Anyone using it? Impressions?

It the same module hypertech uses. The result would be similar to what I mentioned. You won't regret the purchase.

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

Well, after reading about the Diablo option and trying to decide if I wanted to fool around with a custom tune or not, I decided to give the Hypertech Interceptor a shot. Read about the claims and install instructions on their website, and linked to a vendor near me. Got a 30 day money back guarantee if not satisfied, so figured why not. Must say... holy sh*t my Jeep has some spring in its step! Much better throttle repsonse- especially from a dead stop the thing has some juice now. I'm on day two and feeling money well spent so far ($325). As I am not an engine junkie, can someone tell me if the ECU will eventually temper this new performance enhancement, and diminish the gains? Thx.

Are you running 87 Octane? Do you have to run higher Octane with this module?

Still using 89 as recommended for hemi. Nothing in the instructions that I saw about changing octane.

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

FYI. I believe this is allowed but let me know if it isn't.

I tried ordering the Hypertech Interceptor on AutoAnything.com and applying the 15% first time buyer promotion WELCOME15. Well the promotion didn't work online as Hypertech is excluded but I called the number supplied when ordering online and they gave me the discount over the phone. Got it for $305.99.

Obviously, very happy with the service as I didn't expect to receive the discount but went for it anyways over the phone.

Hope this can help others.

Nothing besides driving with 5 or 6 selected instead of D.

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

Okay before I get bashed, I am curious I come from owning a diesel pick up where you are able to stack programmers. I don't know a ton about the interceptor other than it plugs into sensors and I'm assuming alters the sensor to pick up performance/ throttle response. Are you able to run that and then tune the ECM with the diablo, or is the diablo essentially doing the same thing the interceptor is just changing it through the ECM?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, like I said I'm used to diesels where you can stack programmers. I know this isn't a diesel, but I'm just thinking out loud and I'm sure someone with more knowledge on wk2 tuning and knowledge on the interceptor/DS can explain.

It's not a dumb question, that's actually a damn good idea. But I'm pretty sure you can't do that on the gas engines.
