How is your gas milage with normal driving. I noticed with normal driving with my Diablosport tune that I lost 2 mpg. They promote you get better gas milage.

Just filled up last night. I'm getting 17-18 mpg range. We had a snow storm so I was playing around in that as well.

Just received an email from Sean @ hemifever last Friday, saying that there is nothing yet for 2013 hemi's, and he is waiting on diablosport to get their products ready for 2013 hemi software. Sounds like there are apparently some differences between 2013+ hemi software and earlier versions.

As I remember it was the biggest obstacle for 11+ models was the ECM encryption being cracked. Once that was overcome, tuning was available. But then the 2013 models came out with a different model ECM and threw a wrench into plans.

I am on the same anxious list of people waiting for the 2013s to be tuned. I don't return from deployment until the end of the year, so I will be very upset if I come back and there's STILL no word on a tuner for my Jeep. All this saved up money and nothing to spend it on... haha

Well I finally got the Hypertech Interceptor installed on my 2011 Overland 5.7 Tomorrow it hits the highway but just about 3 miles today showed dividends. Jeeps , for me, have historically had a dead spot in their acceleration in 2nd or 3rd gear--no more! I already had the Airaid cold air induction on it but it now has the sound of a real V8 when you step on it. Think this is going to be fun. Will let you know how it goes.

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

OK--been running tuned with interceptor almost 2 weeks now. I drive 30 miles 1 way to work out in rural MT. Compared to before, I do get 2 mpg more on average--not that I really care cause you don't buy one of these for gas mileage. I already had an Air Raid induction system on it. There is a significant performance increase though I have no way to quantify that. Every Jeep V8 I ever had has had a lag or dead spot in acceleration, usually in 2nd gear on older models and 3rd gear on this one. That is basically gone. Driving down the highway, if I'm going uphill and it needs to downshift,it would continue to torque down and then suddenly drop into the next lowest gear--rather abruptly. Now-it downshifts less over all and when it does, it does it quickly and very smoothly. If you enjoy the throaty V8 sound you get with air induction and a tuner, you will like this. I drive about 80 mph and its not quite turning 2000 rpm's. Passing at highway speeds has always been good but it is definitely better now. If I am passing someone on our rural 2 lane highway, I pull out and next thing I know it jumps to over 90. Overall, I am very pleased with the tweak.
