I SAS that Diablosport sells a Tune/Tuner vor the 2012 3.6 in the Wrangler. Could that be used to program the Wk2, too?

There is a significant performance increase though I have no way to quantify that. Every Jeep V8 I ever had has had a lag or dead spot in acceleration, usually in 2nd gear on older models and 3rd gear on this one. That is basically gone. Driving down the highway, if I'm going uphill and it needs to downshift,it would continue to torque down and then suddenly drop into the next lowest gear--rather abruptly. Now-it downshifts less over all and when it does, it does it quickly and very smoothly. If you enjoy the throaty V8 sound you get with air induction and a tuner, you will like this. I drive about 80 mph and its not quite turning 2000 rpm's. Passing at highway speeds has always been good but it is definitely better now. If I am passing someone on our rural 2 lane highway, I pull out and next thing I know it jumps to over 90. Overall, I am very pleased with the tweak.
Thanks for the update!

Not sure if I want to go this route, or do a Bullydog unit....

To update; got an answer from Diablosports that the tune for the Wrangler 3.6 doesn't work for the WK2 3.6. No reply on the question if and when they will develop a tune for the WK2 V6.

Quadratec offered a tune from Diablosports for the WK2 V6 but that was a mistake as it is the very same.

Right about 6 months ago they told me it will be a while because they had many in front of it.

I'm very local, next town over. I'm not sure i want to be the guinea pig though. What kind of punishment does your engine take?

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

For a typical tuning shop - the test vehicle will get some baseline runs on a dyno (so idle to redline) and then 3-4 runs on the dyno for each tweak of the tune. So sometimes 30 or so dyno pulls. Nothing to stress over though.

Depending on the manufacturer, they might insure your vehicle while its in their hands, i.e. they blow up your engine, they replace it.
