Has anyone heard any news on release dates for an ECM Performance Programmer? Spoke with a BullyDog Tech in January and he reported they had one in "planning" but too soon for a release date. I've gotten zip from the other manufactures.

With BWoody Air Intake released & 3 Flavors of Cat-back, was looking for a programmer too!

Does anyone have a 180F or 185F thermostat for a Pentastar ? All I want to do is run everything about 10% cooler since I live in a hot climate. Do not like 206-210F coolant all of the time. Everything gets hot.

Besides that I really really want to keep the IAT down to 100F, am seeing 140+ often, & may need a CAI, the stock intake "hose" seems to have furnaces built in.

All for longetivity. I tend to keep cars I like for decades.

You might want to post this elsewhere. but we've debated this till those with physics understanding have beaten their brains to a pulp. lowering your water temp will do nothing to prevent overheating. Air coming by the IAT sensor is rushing by so fast that the temperature of the block will not affect it (unless you're sitting at idle and you're in a heatsoak situation)

I have been wondering the same thing - intake, exhaust, and chip were to be the first things I did to my Jeep when I bought it - but now I am just sitting on the money and waiting. I am anxious to see what Superchips can do to the Hemi for this model series.

Hopefully something comes out before the CRDs come to the US and I decide to upgrade...

Ok, drove past Hennessey on I10 the other day from a meeting in San Antonio, good news and bad news. Hennessey should have something out in next 2 months but will replace the whole computer, not update the PCM. I was pretty stoked! Minus the 4k price tag that comes with it due to the major overhaul. If you want to do the full upgrade, chip, supercharger, exhaust, tranny, it will run around 16k. Egh!!!

Give them a call for more details. Hey! At least it's something to help this damn hemi actually run. Mercedes totally f'Ed Chrysler and us!

Assuming you're the guy who doesn't get robbed by Hennessey, sure. But you could also be the guy that has his truck sit there for months being stripped of parts to make another truck, despite paying.

I'd read up on him and his antics before deciding to give the man any money. You could also just take a look at his "professional demeanor" in the thread too. And yes, that really was him.

Responce I just got from Diablo:

"Thanks for the inquiry, but I'm afraid we do not support any 2011+ Chrysler vehicles at this time.* Chrysler has done everything they can to prevent us from being able to program their new vehicles, and there is no way to give an ETA for a future release."

I can safely say this is the first and last time I'll buy a 2011+ Chrysler product. If I were a Challenger, 300, or Jeep SRT8 owner I would be livid. Without after market support Chrysler performance vehicles are the SLOWEST and LEAST fuel efficient vehicles of the big 3. I should have stuck with Ford and got another F150.

That's not what I was hoping to read when I saw the first line :banghead:

Three Chrysler products, three trim levels, all three with manufacture tags, with a Roush racing chase truck. The drivers were very tight lipped and the vehicles were dirty to say the least. This was taken at the gas station
At I76 and Bromley lane. They pulled in from the west, looked like they were coming back from the mountains.

I've decided to just run in tow/mode all the time as of earlier this week. It pretty much addresses all the issues i have; poor shifting and throttle response. I'll let you guys know how the mpg works out but i don't expect much of a change as my tires are 1.5"s larger then stock.

I been doing this for some time and now I refuse to drive the truck with out it on. I got the fiat 500 for the gas sipping and run that in sport mode all the time too..lol:eek:

Service Manuals are online only. Tech Authority is where you can get access or order a manual if one is released.
As for tuning, rumor has it that an announcement is going to be made at the end of the month.

Chrysler has the ECU locked on all their motors. I wouldn't hold my breath on any supposed delivery dates. As you can tell by this 27 page thread we've gotten promises for a year straight now.

Now the 3.0CRD motor has tuning available. 475ftlb tq, 8spd trans, and 26MPG combined is going to be a blast! I'm jumping ship as soon as the CRD motor lands stateside

^ I agree. I would pay simply to fix the soft spots. Fix shift points, open throttle faster and an option to fully disable traction control.

I don't like the converter going loose on every little rise in the road or basic part throttle application to pick up 10mph for a higher speed limit.
It feels like a loose converter I had on a hot rod and nearly sucks down gasoline like it too.
I'd like to see the torque converter lock up sooner and not come unlocked until you really call on it, like maybe 50% throttle or greater.
