Looks like they use SCT, HP Tuners, Diablosport, etc to do their tuning. I do not think any tuning companies support the 2011 PCMs in the 5.7 hemis.

I have had a VERY bad experience with Dave at BG and in my opinion he will take your money and be happy to give you nothing in return... Even if your vehicle runs slower with his tune than with the factory tune... He does NOT stand by his work nor does he stand by his own word....Buyer beware! Use BG at your own risk... Thats all Im going to say about that.

SPEED SAFE, NICK

Well after a week of owning my
Jeep I can not wait for superchips to crack the code! They really made the stock tune conservative. This is my 4th hemi and by far the slowest and most unresponsive.

Keep up the good work and let us know how it's going.

Also just wondering if the option to turn off MDS will be available. So I can put on a good sounding exhaust with out drone.

Thank you all for your patience with us. We are working tirelessly to get 2011 support for all 3 OEM's and hope to have something available soon for your applications.

I am guessing that MDS options should be available for those equipped. I will know more once we are writing the files to the PCM's without the security features blocking us.

is it safe to assume if you crack it for the 2011's it will cover the 2012's as well?

We haven't tested any 2012's yet so I can't offer much info on that at the moment but if nothing has changed between 2011 and 2012 then there shouldn't be any issues.

The 2012 V8's have a "new 6-speed transmission", although there is some debate that this is more marketing than actual hardware.....

B&G actually does their own tuning and are thought of by many as real gurus with mopar pcms. They will actually put their own tune into a programmer like a Diablo Predator.

Before any tuner devices were available for my SRT8 300 I bought a B&G Stage 2 programmed PCM that did deliver real performance gains. When the Predator became available I switched so I could log my data and adjust a multitude of parameters on my own.

That said, Dave at B&G is not the most warm, friendly and easy guy to deal with (to Nick / Air Ram's point). As for me I'm waiting for Diablosport to come through. I haven't had any experience with Superchips but based upon their communications on here it seems like they are a fine company. I can speak from experience that the Diablo folks are outstanding to deal with. I've even e-mailed them my tunes and they've modified them for me at no charge.

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

Superchip is getting close per Scott's posting. Has there been any updates on the Diablo unit? Other than some possible custom tuners, has anyone heard of any of the other companies working on a WK2 Hemi unit?

As testing and tuning gets closer; any apx estimates on HP or Tq gains?

Waiting for a programmer unit is getting to be about as long as waiting for the WK2!

Scott, is the work getting close enough you could ballpark an est timeframe? I know last attempt was May prior to the unknown code blocking issues but with those in the works, any estimates product will be Fall release or are we realistically looking at after January?

All you have to do is press the Tow-Haul button and the MDS is disabled.I am still waiting for my Predator to be updated, but atleast I can disable the MDS for the better sounding exhaust.

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

We have tire and gear correction for 2011 and 2012 Jeep and Dodge models. If you currently own a 752001, 52001, pc52001 from your last Chrysler vehicle all it needs is a update.

It works on all Jeep SUV's and Wrangler from 2007-2012

regards, Jay
