Thats what i use also, amazon will drop three 5 quart jugs of pennzoil ultra platinum on your front porch for $93. Alot of the local stores have started only carrying the platinum jugs not the ultra platinum jugs not sure why that is.

So its about $50 for a full synthetic oil change of the ultra. What is the going rate at dealers for a full synthetic change?

Re: Anybody using AMSOIL OIL

Advance has a penzoil platinum special right now $32.99 for a 5 quart jug and fram, they'll substitute and only stock the purolator, think the extra quart is $8. I thought I saw it at Walmart for $26.99 for the jug. It is a very good oil and readily available on special. Ultra is $9.19 at advance and 9.79 at my pep boys, both stock it by me, kinda nice.

Re: Anybody using AMSOIL OIL

PUP is 108$ at Amazon for 3 5 qt jusgs, so 36$

I just got two 5 qt jugs of Mobil1 EP 5w-20 for 23 a jug less 12$ rebate per jug

I have a stash of the PUP from walmart when they were clearancing it for 10$ a jug, grabbed about 10 of em

Per amsoil, you cant go wrong with their Sig Series, stout oil. I run it in my turbo cars and for some fills on all my others.

Few pics of my 03 PT turbo with valve cover off at 100K, mostly Amsoil and my 5.9 in my Durango at 75K. Also oil stash and beer stash, that beer has been used!
