Have the 16929 on my V6 '15Limited and love it. I really disliked the look of the single exhaust on my jeep. I know many will say it's a silly/unnecessary mod, but I like it. There is a drone at idle/reverse And mild when cruising at highway speeds. I can't compare it To The V8 but it's pretty much a none issue on the V6 - I have no issues withy the noise. The extra sound will def turn some heads, esp at start up. But it's not overwhelming, just enough to let people know it's not stock.
No regrets on the purchase. Got it from hotexhaust.com with some nice discount with a promo code (like $200 off). With that said, going from your duel set up already, besides maybe 1-2 MPG change and a louder start up, you're not going to get much else for your $1k+ mod there.
Pic below - powder coated the eXhaust tips in gloss black.
im actually doing the black 19216. slightly larger mufflers than whats on yours, but still considered " moderate sound " . Im terrified of Drone after the Flowmasters on my Hemi. This should be all good though.
Fired it up at the shop and Im like...meh. pretty quiet.
Got in it and tooled around and did some mid range stuff and then a WOT and now im really happy. I was mad with my HEMI. 3 exhausts and I never got it right. too loud, too much drone. This is a NICE vehicle. it shouldnt be loud all the time. And its not. Barely noticeable, at idle...but nice and calm deeper tone everywhere else. And then when you are on the happy pedal it sounds clean.
Not ricey,
not droney,
not raspy,
no poppy.
Just a nice clean and appropriate sound. Im very pleased
If anybody is uograding and wants to get rid of their OEM Exhaust/muffler setup please let me know. I am in the market for one. Prefer double but will take single as well.
