A bit when coasting downhill or on flats. Not a huge issue but it is there.

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

I said the same thing about it being so quiet, still debating on putting borla or the corsa so for now i installed the mopar cold air intake and it sounds really good when you accelerate. might be an option if you dont want to hear the drone while your idle..

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

Just got done with a 1,600 mile road trip with the Corsa and Volant CAI installed. Pretty nice. Exhaust tone at cruise is subtle but comes on louder with acceleration. There is definitely a MDS drone when it is active and at neutral throttle or coasting downhill. This is a disappointment since I thought the Corsa would not have a noticeable drone. Gas mileage, looked like we got a bump going from Moab to Fresno, 20+ mpg and Fresno to Las Vegas, but the 75-85 speeds going "uphill" from LV to Moab really pulled that average down to what we previously saw on similar trips.

Thought we had fixed the rubbing issues with the rear support hangers, but noticed that we are getting a buzzing/vibration sound during moderate acceleration from a stop. Time to crawl under the rig again.

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

I have about 2k on my Corsa exhaust. The fit is not bad, but it does hang a little lower at the front cats. There is noticeable MDS drone though. I'm actually a bit disappointed because Corsa blows their own horn pretty heavy saying there is no drone. Not sure if they ever drove it in city driving or any time off throttle. I do like the sound of the exhaust under a load. It's even better sitting at a light and you're the one with the cool exhaust sound. I guess with the MDS system on the Jeep you'll have drone no matter what.

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

I installed a Magnaflow system on my 2012 Overland. Very satisfied. Looks great as well. Chrome tips larger than stock and perfect amount of sound

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

I called both borla and corsa and borla said they had a 12 HP gain and a 12 tq gain. Corsa on the other hand claimed a 7 HP gain and 4 tq gain. Borla is known for
The true HP gain unlike flow master and magnaflow so I think I'm gonna go with borla. Any thoughts why I shouldn't go with borla?

after speaking with chris higgins at borla, i am closer to choosing borla, also as a cosmetic issue the muffler doesn't hang down so low - i would pick corsa in a heartbeat, but i can't get over how it looks at the back - JMHO

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

Thanks for the follow-up on the Corsa...I haven't seen them in use up close before and always wondered. For Borla, they make good stuff, but I think Borla translates to "cool-stuff-but-we-cost-the-bucks."

And yes...your wife should have a t-shirt that reads "I'm the coolest ever"
