The sound is quite noticeable when the stupid MDS is engaged but I just turn up the radio then. I love the sound and psychological power! So with that being said since I'm a chick, I should make someone a pretty cool wife too?
Yes I do believe you would...!

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

Yes thank-you Evolv0, I did see this video on YouTube and was impressed by how much better the Corsa system sounds.
I think I will go with the Corsa,

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

For those that installed either a Borla or Corsa cat-back exhaust themselves, how hard was it? I am pretty handy with tools but i am far from a gear-head and don't have a lift, exhaust/tranny stand etc. I am looking at possibly getting a GC summit and putting an exhaust kit on it instead of the extra 15k for the SRT. Insight on installation is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

another difference is i think the Borla is one or 2 piece system, while the Corsa has multiple pieces. Both sound great. Tips on the Corsa look bigger than the Borla. Borla sounds deeper at idle than corsa too.

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

They both do sound really good. I am curious from feedback here, the Borla has more drone than the Corsa but the Corsa sounds louder in the video. Thoughts?

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

I have the Borla set up on my 2014 Overland. Howie and I should get together and do a couple of acceleration and start up videos to give a clearer picture of both exhausts side by side

I've removed and installed the Corsa system a few times. Last time was about 1 hour. It isn't that hard. Just make sure you keep all the joints loose so you can adjust at the end. Get some exhaust hanger pliars. They are $13 or so on amazon. Other than that all you need are basic hand tools and a torque wrench that goes up to 45 ft lbs.

Borla vs. Corsa

Oh, and I just put my Summit on off-road 2 on the quadra lift and crawled under. By myself. You can do it without lifts, extra people, etc. if you do it yourself I found it is easiest to install the tunnel mufflers into the rubber hangers then put the bolts into the header flanges. Just don't tighten anything down until you get everything lined up at the outlet area.

Yes, I agree that the Corsa sounds louder. Borla sounds very quiet like stock, but with a different tone. Corsa sounds louder and raspy. I think the Borla is too quiet. Just stay with stock, why waste the money? At least that's my opinion. I'm happy with Corsa, even more so after seeing this video. It's still the perfect blend if wild and mild.
