BT Catch Can

Well, my Billet Technology Catch Can finally arrived! It took about 6 weeks but it was worth it! The new style (composite) with clear glass bottom is brilliant! No more guessing when to empty it! The quality is impressive & I can't wait to install it!

It's more like an option than an all new catch can.

The clear can can be be bought separately for $79

A complete catch can kit with the composite can starts at $147.99 before options.

But for something new to catch cans you should look at adding the UPR products catch can diffuser for the billet technology catch can.

http://m.uprproducts.com/upr-billet-...echnology.html

It adds a 1 inch deeper filter to the inlet side of the can. And to the exhaust side a thin material the texture of a scotch Brite pad.

It is said to increase the effectiveness 300%.

The model for UPR cans actually has an 1.5 inch filter an they offer larger cans than billet tech.

I know there is some bad blood between the two companies, but if they are trying to improve the design and offer capacity options then they at least deserve a look.

Dan, my total for the unit was $198. I ordered the composite style (clear bottom) in red, nickel fittings, braided hoses, red caps, and satin finish bracket. Install was 1/2 hr and was pretty simple! Here are some shots after installation:

Re: BT Catch Can

Thanks JA. Trying to decide if I 'need' one. My exhaust tips are completely free of any black/sooty residue.

Reluctant to pull the intake hose off to check for oil in the throttle body.

I'm looking for one that will fit my Eco 2014, they don't seem to have one on their site, think I'll drop them a call!

Re: BT Catch Can

That's nice Hemi. Hows does the can sit, is it tight like your normal can or is it slimmer?

ssgunner, I can't speak for the other BT Catch Cans, but I would think they are the same size. My CC is slimmer & taller than say, a coke can. Once installed, there is plenty of room around it to easily unscrew the bottom. I think it looks great, is very well made, and is very functional!
