Re: cai

How is the performance of the Mopar CAI vs the K&N? I'm thinking of purchasing the Mopar version for warranty considerations...

You performance wise? I have read that some people appear to have different opinions on the performance of various CAIs vs each other...?

A performance intake is not going to void your warranty

Re: cai

exactly what CAI said. Ive had them in the past on 2 different trucks. made it sound cooler, but couldnt really notice a power difference. also got less MPG with them.

look at the K&N specs. the Horsepower line on the chart is almost identical up to 5500 rpm, in which you gain approx 10.32 HP. who drives and hit 5500rpm on a regular basis?

Agreed in principle but I have heard Chrysler has given people a hard time with them in the past...no?

That's why I just got the AFE dry s drop in filter. CAI are top end mods. It's a jeep not a sports car.

It does not have to be a sports car to love how the Hemi sounds with an intake.
I do love how it sounds
