Re: CAI and Exhaust

Just purchased the MOPAR CAI today. I will be having installed at the dealership next year so the warranty will not be void...

Re: CAI and Exhaust

A friend of mine just installed the CAI and saved me about $200 lol. On top of the saving it sounds fantastic.

Re: CAI and Exhaust

It turns out that the MOPAR CAI 77070041 only has a valid CARB for the 2011 model. When you go get smogged they will fail you unless you pull it off first.

It's easy to install. Put mine on in about 40 minutes. Incredible difference in sound.

Re: CAI and Exhaust

I will update you about MPG probably tomorrow night. I have a 3 hr road trip tomorrow and I'll let you know how mpg is for that trip. My normal mpg for that trip is ~15.6 stock. Hopefully, this trip wil give me a better mpg.

Re: CAI and Exhaust

The 180 mile road trip got me 16.4 MPG. Not that bad, but I was going over the speed limit lol.

Re: CAI and Exhaust

No problem. And that's with some stop and got traffic. Could have gotten and extra 1 mpg if it was a straight shot and If I was going the speed limit .

Re: CAI and Exhaust

What's up guys, just installed my k&n 63 cai over the chrome one love the look and I personally think its better against heat soak. I'm planning on getting the flowmaster force II catback set up.
