Re: Catch Can and 2014 Hemi (non-SRT)

I ended up using a razor blade to slice through the hose where it connects on the back end. That thing would not budge without cutting.

I was considering cutting it, but I opted not to, in case I wanted to go back to stock in the future. I guess I could buy a new PCV line from dealer or online somewhere. Cutting is my last resort, lol. Thanks!

Is there an install video from the fuse box bracket? All the video's i find are for the Z bracket or standard(which i believe is not the current fuse box location).

Re: Catch Can and 2014 Hemi (non-SRT)

Just installed my can. Wow, 1st let me begin with saying the instructions are by far the worst i have ever seen/read. Ive installed RX and elite cans and even RX was a bit more detailed. I can speak for Elites can which is the same concept as this but i guess i will see the results with billet.

Back to the instructions, id prefer if none were in there if i was to figure it out on my own what do which i did. Theres much more detailed info on this site than what they give u as a guide. Overall install was a piece of cake. Only issue i has like others mentioned was the removal of oem hose end which i said f it sliced it. Then the clips and ended droping them in the engine so thise are gone. Dont need em either. I also dropped the nut one back for the screws so had to go buy one.

Ill check back in around 100 miles

Re: Catch Can and 2014 Hemi (non-SRT)

Just checked my can and wow cant believe it caught about almost a tea spoon in about 70 miles. Im shocked these engines produce so much gunk. Glad its on now.

One thing i noticed is it seems like there is oil stains from the fittings and in between from where u unscrew. Is that normal? Now i'd wish i gotten black.

No oil stains on mine. I empty mine every 2,500 miles and it is half full when I empty it.
