Catch can / CAI install update

I installed both the catch can & the AFE Momentum GT Stage II (dry filter) in November. I went to Tampa for Christmas and tracked some stats if anyone is interested on performance. Oil catch can has 1/2" of oil in it from install date of 22 Nov 15 at the same time the oil was changed. The CAI was installed 9 Dec 15. Below are the specs for the drive (to and from Tampa)

855 total miles driven (No city driving as this was from my front door to my parents)
1.75 tank (gas)
22.5 AVG MPG
75 AVG MPH
73F A/C TEMP / AUTO
NEW TIRES W 38PSI NITROGEN

If anyone had doubts on performance, don't. I don't know specifics on HP, but you can definitely tell that the Jeep (3.6L) has some more get up and go around the 1,800 / 3,300 RPM range. No drone sound at all from within the cab. It's very quiet. The catch can will definitely hold some oil & depending on everyone's driving between oil changes (city vs interstate) I'd say that you could possibly be able to go 2 oil changes before you need to consider emptying the catch can.

Where/how did you mount the catch can in your 3.6L? I've been thinking about doing this myself recently and looks like it could be mounted the unibody frame under the air intake on the drivers side.

22mpg? Crazy, my 3.6 was getting about 26-27 mpg driving from Seattle to Georgia just before thanksgiving. Changed the oil once I got back to GA since it was about that time.

Im curious also where u got your can from. Just purchased a can from billet since i have experience with them from the hemi snd was advised they dont mske one for 2017 3.6 jeep. Really sucks because they're product is legit and since i had it on the hemi i want it for the v6. Waiting to see what can be done.

Sorry to thread jack but how different is the 2017 vs 14, 15 or 2016 jeep wk2 3.6? Has anything changed as far as where to possibly mount the can? From previous posts looks like the install place is same as my old 2014 hemi (fusebox).

The coolant reservoir is in a differenct place on the 2016 So you cant mount it in the same place as the 5.7 or 3.7 from previous years.

You can find other catch cans and once you find a place to mount it then you can run the lines to it.
