Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

I getting no reply from Corsa calls not answered . This issue has now dragging on for two weeks. This is going to end up in the hand of the BBB if they don't get back to me.

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

That WAS to be my next purchase. After all of the fitment issues and now the lovely sound clip on You Tube. And Jeep chose them to make their performance exhaust? SERIOUSLY?! Guess I'll save my money for a tuner instead (and buy a couple cases of beer to celebrate not having that headache).

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

^^^ Not everyone is having fitment issues.. Everyone is also not an exhaust tech/installer. I love mine and there are a few others who had one before me which seem to have no problems... Its not OEM product but considering they are building these probably by hand off a jig or display I'd say they are doing a good job. You have an occasional problem (just like the Jeeps) where a weld may have not been to strong etc.. But for the most part I'd say that its a great product.. Check out the Vette forums for Corsa reviews if you have any doubts.

Obviously a few members here are having issues, the largest being the muffler rattle which would piss anyone off, its not correct but if they finally send him a new muffler it should fix that problem, manufacturing defect.. unfortunate but happens right?

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

So I contacted Corsa this AM and heard back from Jim, he seems to think that most of the issues here have been taken care of! If not if you PM me I'll be more then happy to forward his contact info on so he can help. After several email's and the fact that I've had four other Corsa exhausts I'm moving forward with my purchase!

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

UPDATE: My replacement H-Pipe and diver side muffler came in today. I had them installed and the issue has been corrected. The old H-pipe passenger side muffler that was placed in the UPS box to be send back to corsa was still rattling off the car while i was driving it to be shipped......LOL!

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

I have been busy haven't checked forum in a few weeks but have had my Corsa exhaust for about 6 weeks post "h pipe" resolution...gotta say, overall flawless performance, they fixed (Corsa + dealer) this issue quickly and were responsive. I had to manage the resolution but the result is awesome...I really love this Corsa exhaust, it's great...also, today got the 5.7 trans tsb update and the exhaust sounds even smoother...highly recommended...

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

I went to pickup a new front door for my house a couple weeks ago, so I had to drive home with the lift gate cracked open. The pipes sure do make sweet, sweet music.

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

Figured I'd post here instead of starting a new thread. I had the Corsa exhaust installed today and all was good for a bit. Now I have a crazy loud and annoying metal to metal sound rattle/knock on the driver side. I think I've figured out its the rear most muffler hanger hitting the side rail or flange. Looks like the driver side muffler needs to be moved toward the center as well.

Hopefully playing around with it or taking it back to the installer and making them fix it will fix it but I have another question issue (though hopefully related to the positioning).

Has anyone's exhaust caused the dash to rattle? It seems to be only around 1500 rpm and under mild acceleration. If i floor it it doesn't seem to have a chance or hit the right note to vibrate the dash.

Other than these fun issues the exhaust sounds good under acceleration/rev and has a nicer idle to it than stock. Driving around town you would never know its not stock. Think I am so use to my Mustang's Bassani exhaust that my initial impression is these seem quiet. Could also be the lack of sound deadening material in the stang though.

Re: Corsa Exhaust Install - Quick Update

I have my corsa on the way now. One question. If I spray the exhaust black will it void the warranty? I just don't like seeing any silver components hanging down under the car.

I was wondering if anyone had done this... I would be doing the same.
